Railway Museum:
The Railway Museum houses a collection of historic steam locomotives, old railway offices and buildings, passenger carriages and a model of an historic train station with period furnishings.

Matobo National Park:
Matobo offers a variety of wildlife, but is best known for its zealously guarded population of white and black rhino.

Natural History Museum:
The museum hosts some of the most comprehensive butterfly and mammal collections in the world. Its centrepiece exhibit is the Lowveld Gallery, depicting "big game country" in the lowveld of Zimbabwe. Among other animals, the gallery boasts the second largest mounted elephant in the world.

Cyrene Mission:
Both the internal and external walls of the thatched chapel at Cyrene are painted with frescos depicting African interpretations of biblical accounts and scenes from African history. The mission was established in 1939 by Canon Edward Paterson, an artist himself, who served as mission principal until his retirement in 1953.

Khami National Monument:
Of the 50 known archaeological settlement sites between the Zambezi and Limpopo rivers, the ruins of Khami, capital of the Torwa state (successor to Great Zimbabwe), are the most important. Beginning around 1450, the settlement flourished as a trading post and missionary stop.
